Environmentalism within Humanism - Virtual Discussion

  • Via Zoom - Link to be shared once registered (map)

You are warmly invited to join us this October for an evening presentation and discussion on the shared beliefs and ways environmentalism and Humanism cross over.

Humanist views are underpinned by reason and science and the recognition of a moral duty towards the welfare of our fellow beings and the natural world. We are all part of one planet that is shared between previous, current and future generations.

The evidence is now overwhelming for the impact of human action on our planet, including climate change, pollution, and the loss of biodiversity. We alone as a species are responsible for ensuring future generations can experience the same joy and wonder from the natural world as we do.

We'll be joined by representatives from Humanists UK Climate Action Group, as they share insights from current campaign activity and guide us through the topic of environmentalism from a humanist perspective.

This sounds like an interesting and thought-provoking subject, so feel free to join us from the comfort of your home.

If you’d like to attend, please use the form below to book your place and we will send you a link to the event.
