Secular worldviews around the world: Psychology research on non-religious beliefs and worldviews in 10 countries

Dr Valerie van Mulukom of Coventry University will take us through her latest research findings on the psychology of non-religious beliefs around the world as part of the Understanding Unbelief research programme, aimed at understanding atheism and other forms of “unbelief” around the world, including humanism.

Dr Valerie van Mulukom is an Assistant Professor at Coventry University at the Centre for Trust, Peace, and Social Relations, as well a Research Associate at the University of Oxford (Centre for the Study of Social Cohesion). Her research spans a broad range of topics, roughly unified within cognitive science of imagination, memory, and belief.
