What makes Humanist families, parenting and relationships different?

  • Moseley Exchange 149–153 Alcester Road, Moseley Birmingham United Kingdom (map)

We warmly invite you to join us at the Moseley Exchange this May, for a thought provoking discussion on the extent family life, parenting and relationships are influenced by Humanist values.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and as society evolves, so too do our perspectives on relationships, marriage, and parenting. But to what extent does Humanist values change the way we view family, approach parenting and build romantic relationships? Throughout the evening we will explore some key questions such as:

✔️ What does family mean to you? How do we define and shape our closest connections?
✔️ Marriage & Polyamory: How are attitudes toward relationships changing in the 21st century?
✔️ Parenting as a Humanist: How do secular ethics influence the way we raise children?
✔️ Childhood & Development: What factors shape a child's worldview in today's society?

Do come along to learn, share and reflect on your views from a range of thought-provoking topics.

Refreshments will be available throughout and the opportunity to socialise will be possible before and after the talk.

If you would like to come, please use the form below so we know to expect you. We look forward to seeing you there!
