At a time when our democracy is under attack from the forces of authoritarianism, disinformation and hate speech, humanist values are needed more than ever.

Our discussion will focus on the core idea that democracy relies on the inherent worth of every individual and, our shared responsibility to build a cooperative and, compassionate society.

It will focus on our shared civic values of respect, responsibility, participation, equality and justice, rather than political ideology, in a spirit of open and inclusive debate.

📍 Location & Accessibility:

The venue is Moseley Exchange on the Alcester Road, behind the Post Office.

• Car: There is some free car parking on street from 7pm, or a car park opposite.

• Train: Just a short walk (500m) from Moseley Village railway station.

• Bus: There are numerous bus routes, with stops very nearby.

• Accessibility: There is a ramp into the building and a lift to our 1st floor meeting room.

• Doors Open: 19.30

• Workshop start: 19.30

• Workshop end: 21.00

• Refreshments, chat and finish by: 21:30
