We warmly invite you to join us this April in Moseley Exchange for us to explore the impact and importance of Humanist Ceremonies, from the perspective of an experienced local celebrant.
💬What to Expect:
In this session, Mark Taylor will lead a discussion on Humanist Ceremonies. Whether it is welcoming a new life, celebrating a marriage, or saying a final goodbye, humanist ceremonies offer a personal and deeply meaningful way to mark these transitions without religious doctrine. Mark will explore how these ceremonies focus on the unique story of the individuals involved, shared human values, and the importance of personal choice in our celebrations.
Drawing on his extensive professional experience, Mark will share reflections on the emotional impact of secular rituals and the craft of storytelling in ceremony. He will discuss how he works with families to create bespoke scripts that truly reflect the essence of a person's life and values.
❓A bit about Mark:
Accredited Humanist Celebrant with years of experience conducting weddings, namings, and funerals across the West Midlands.
Expertise in bespoke storytelling, helping families find the right words to celebrate life and love outside of traditional religious frameworks.
There will be a dedicated opportunity for a Q&A session, so please do bring along any questions you may have about the process, the role of a celebrant, or the future of non-religious ceremonies in the UK.
☕Refreshments will be available, and there’ll be time to chat before and after the discussion.
If you’d like to come, please use the form below to book your place. 👇
We look forward to seeing you there!
