Living with mortality: a Humanist conversation about death, dying and grief

  • Stirchley Baths 2-4 Bournville Lane Birmingham, England, B30 2JT United Kingdom (map)

➡️Introduction:

Death is one of the few experiences every human being shares, yet one of the subjects we often find hardest to discuss. In this workshop we will explore Humanist thinking around death, dying and grief, with a particular focus on:

  • What we think happens when we die

  • How we might prepare for death

  • How people cope with grief

The workshop will be in the form of a guided discussion, in which you’ll be invited to share your thoughts, ideas and questions. There will also be opportunity to share personal experiences and reflections in a safe environment, should you wish to. The workshop will have an upbeat tone, with time to reflect on gratitude for the life we have and living it well.
